With only 1,000 miles on the odometer, the car itself received a full restoration process from Mercedes-Benz Classic and Daimler AG themselves, an undertaking that spanned seven years and cost a staggering $3 million USD to complete. The original 6.3-liter V8 engine was rebuilt from the ground up along with the limousine’s transmission system, breathing new life into the vintage vehicle. Though its exterior retains the elegant design sensibilities of ’70s luxury, its interior has been upgraded to include a folding table, an LCD television, a Bluetooth surround sound stereo system, as well as various power-assisted furniture. Purchase of the car will also include its original keys and full documentation.
